Rosser anagama:packing
Sidestoke home | Rosser anagama home

Packing can be awkward even with access via the gap where the front lid sits.

Pots on the floor under the rear lid and, on the right, the pack in the rear “trench”, which is where wood stoked through the rear side stoke ports land.

The front wall of the firebox is removed, along with the dog, to make cleaning and packing easier.

Plates are packed upright at the back of the firebox, separated by seashells. The pots in the background are located under the front lid.
