The Sturt anagama 1

Built by Aaron Scythe in 1994, the Sturt anagama has been fired by a number of visiting potters in conjunction with Paul Davis. Some of the bricks came from the demolition of part of the three chambered noborigama.

Ian Jones introduced the use of firebars in the firebox. The kiln is generally fired for three to four days, primarily with Macrocarpa wood.
