One of the properties where wood is collected

Native Eucalypts near the creek at the back of Su's property. She does not use the dense, hard Eucalyptus wood in her kiln. This is a low rainfall area and has a dangerous bushfire season. Wood fired kilns cannot be fired while fire bans are in force.

Stack of wood, some of it split, ready for stoking. The trailer in the background has been adapted for carrying livestock.
