Web Sites We can register a domain name for you, design a web site, and provide hosting for the site. These are independent web sites, not part of SideStoke. |

Domain
names If your name is Joe Blow we can attempt to register the domain name joeblow.com so that you will have a website with the address http://www.joeblow.com If the domain name joeblow.com is not available, or if you do not like it, we can try joeblow.com.au, or maybe joeblowpottery.com or whatever appeals to you and is available. Once registered, the domain name can provide a permanent web site address, regardless of who writes or hosts your site. |

Email
address If you are connected to the internet then you probably use an email address like arosser@bigpond.com made available to you by your internet service provider. Unfortunately, if you change internet service providers you will probably lose this email address. By registering a domain name and setting up a web page you can have an email address like joe@joeblow.com which will stay with you permanently. |

Designing
the
web site For a charge of AU$380 we can design a web site in line with your preferences, and provide hosting for it so that it is available on the World Wide Web. You will have to supply images, text, and any logos that you might wish to use. Resizing and basic massaging of the images is covered in the design charge. Even if you want to use a different hosting service for your web site, we can write the pages for you. |

Maintenance
A web site
frequently needs to be changed to display new work, update a
CV, remove images of sold work, or whatever.Our annual fee for looking after the changes
and
renewing the domain name registration is AU$170.
This fee
will
be indexed for inflation, and will cover the annual
registration fees for domain names such as
joeblow.com
There will be an additonal charge for annual registration of
the
more expensive domain names such as joeblow.com.au There is no
maintenance fee for the first year of the web site.
